STEEL AND SURFACE

The special ice-hardening process used to create a Friodur® blade makes the blade harder and the steel thus extremely resistant. This allows the sharpness to last for an extremely long time. The steel structure (powder metallurgy) achieved in a complex manufacturing process makes the steel evenly hard causing the extremely high initial and almost permanent sharpness so that no regrinding is necessary for a long time.
