History:
In 2003 Sharpline set a goal to introduce the softest cutting, smoothest slide cutting scissor we have ever produced. The "Avante" scissor being made from premium grade Takefu CS1 alloy, high in molybdenum allowed us to make a scissor with super fine edges the equal to any in the world.
Construction:
"Avante" scissors are two piece welded. Takefu CS1 alloy blades. Rockwell hardness 59 to 61. Computer controlled vacuum furnace hardening with nitrogen injection sub zero slow recovery tempering (this is performed twice). Corrosion resistant handles. Rylon balance face rider. Integrated click type in-built adjustment assembly. Sharpline produces the highest quality scissor once again.
Design features:
"Avante" super ergonomic handle designed by Sharpline to fit and contour to the natural hand shape and allow grip and comfort. Flat low profile blade geometry that translates to super fine cutting edges.
The "Avante" scissor is primarily a wet cutting precision scissor. Not suitable for more than minimal dry cutting.
Edge type:
"Avante" scissors have a super soft cutting feel. Fine hand finished edges. Especially suitable for slide cutting and point cutting.
Warranty:
"Avante" and Quantum scissors are delicate and can be damaged by rough handling. Please ensure proper care is taken with maintenance and storage.
